OVERVIEW of Stigma.org.uk:

The Stigma.org.uk website is produced and edited by Andrew Brown and John Crook. We are the Stigma Trust, a company limited by guarantee (No. 6611079). We have developed this website to tackle head on the issue of how stigma affects the majority of people who have physical, mental and social difficulties. We are also in the situation of having to defend ourselves against injurious comments from others and also feelings of inadequacy brought about by media generated opinions regarding such things as mental and physical health issues and including social causes of stigma.

If you are interested in becoming a member and joining our team visit our Member Zone: www.stigma.org.uk/members

We run an online secure store at: https://www.stigma-store.com where we are selling promotional goods and clothing, motivational and self-help books, talking books and films. We also process payments for donations and memberships in the store.

We have produced a holiday section of the site where we hope to provide free holidays abroad to members of the scheme. We are populating a locations database that will pick up sites around the world to offer holidays from. Any interested person can become a Member, Shareholder, Partner or Agent at: www.GetGoing.org.uk

We are developing pages around other issues and will publish these shortly. If you have experiences that you would like to offer, please contact us and we will provide assistance on how to proceed. If you have any further questions regarding our site, or feel we have missed something that you think is important, please feel free to contact Andrew or John.

Please be assured of our continued support of all the issues regarding stigma.

The www.Stigma.org.uk team.

Thanks, Stigma.
